My dear friend, Judy Patterson with womensministry.net, drove four hours round trip to support me at the Common Grounds Cafe at Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano, Texas. On the long drive home Judy prayed about how she might become more involved with her neighbors. This is what she found taped to her front door when she pulled into her neighborhood:

Yeah… I think God might be preparing her neighborhood for a whole new level of love! Hundreds of people, a band, the local police and television cameras lined her street–

Judy had never met this family–they live at the other end of her long street and go to a different church. Now she’s delivered them a meal, united with them in prayer, and is already talking with her newly-acquainted neighbors about organizing additional support.
