Learning, Serving, Thankful, Blessed

In 2012, these godly men blessed me for ministry: (l-r) my loving father, my amazing husband David, my sweet father-in-law, Pastor Mark Pfeifer, and my spiritual father and pastor Ron Grubb.

Thirteen years later, I’m still thankful and blessed, still serving and learning. This Fall I begin my Master of Biblical and Theological Foundations at Asbury Theological Seminary (and just learned I was awarded a huge scholarship 🙌🏻)! This degree will help me serve the Kingdom and write more and better books.

As I was digging through the syllabuses for my first classes, I recognized a required textbook as one I bought a couple of years ago. I have to do a book report on a book I read for fun – and it was written by my professor! Even better, it’s a hybrid class that will meet in Colorado Springs for a few days, so I’ll get to learn from him in person and meet fellow students.

Isn’t it beautiful how God orchestrates our desires before we’re even aware, putting people and plans in place before dreams stir in our hearts. The path over the past dozen years has had mountains and valleys, and I’m sure there will be more. Remind me, please, when the twists and turns make me dizzy, that God has gone before me before, and He surely will again.
