Like most girls I know, I cannot imitate noises like cars, motorcycles or machines… but if I could, I’d insert a drum roll here:
Introducing the Cafe Kit-
– an adorable little box stuffed with everything you need to start your own Neighborhood Cafe women’s Bible study! The Kit comes with invitations (fill-in-the-blanks if you haven’t decided when you’ll start, or preprinted with your name and address if you’ve already set the date). There’s lot’s more tucked inside, please check it out!
I wanted to make it easy and exciting for you to step outside your comfort zone and step onto your neighbor’s front porch. You can do this! I did, and survived to tell the tale!
The Neighborhood Cafe is definitely a “girl thing,” but you must meet the amazing MEN who helped make this happen! David, my husband of 20 years (Happy Anniversary, Honey!), is always the first one to pull out the battered Cafe Kit prototype and show it to our friends, family and even our customers. Robert Schuller said,
“I am not who I think I am. I am not who you think I am. I am who I think you think I am.”
Well, David must think I am something else! He pulls me along as he climbs and lifts me to new heights I would never achieve without his leadership in our family.
Raffy, Jack, Kerry and Rodrigo have given their technical expertise and talent toward this project. They’ve made all the buttons work, kept your credit cards secure, fixed all my goofs and created the most beautiful box a girl could dream of. Bryce is an on-demand designer who drops everything to help me create cool visual elements and prints to perfection. My dad, Randy, has urged me on toward heaven with his prayers and support. Ron and Mark are my pastors and teachers.
Thank You, God, for surrounding me with these great guys and my “Good, Godly Girlfriends” – especially the ladies of my Rosewood Cafe and the other Cafe Hostesses.
Loving you and your neighbors,
